You got to throw him into the deep-end... I picked up cooking partly out of interest but also out of circumstances having lived more than a quarter of my life away from my family. Necessity may be the Mother of invention but may I be so bold as to say that desperation is the Father of necessity haha =P

well I grew up eating my mums cooking and with her being almost 24/7 in the kitchan it doesn't take alot for me to develop the same interest! the thing is, my mum and I have a funny way of cooking things, we don't go by recipe but our taste, adding a little here and there till it taste right and coming up with other different funky stuff. So yeah, I'm afraid that sometimes the recipe we give will turn out different but sure, we'll give it a try!
